A big reason I don’t like writing any stories even remotely set in my native universe is because I can’t explain how the supernatural and fantastic (like vampires and dragons) fit into my religion, and I’d rather just make up a completely separate universe that has nothing to do with ours where I can also make up God however I do or do not want for storytelling purposes without feeling like I’m conflicting myself.
