Hey, so update – obviously I didn’t make the “start in February” deadline, and that’s because mid January, I became sick with the flu from hell – it wasn’t COVID, we got tested for it twice – and the last week and a half of it (which only ended last week) I basically felt like I was dying. It was pretty awful. But that also means I didn’t have the time to restore my drawing habits nor re-build my backlog much as I’d hoped to do during my break, so… March it is.
However, I wanted to give everyone an update, and as a treat/apology, here’s some concept art for a bit character we’ll meet much, much later. His name is Brank and he is the new main character for a future two-part joke.
Anyway, I am still conceptually working on Monochrome even if I’m not drawing it as much as I’d like to be. I had only the next two plot arcs after backstories planned out, and now I have the next four with direction for the fifth. So no worries about this comic dying. I just was, for a little bit, and /Monty Python voice “I got bettah.” See you in March!
You just need a SMALL prod now and then, to shake the plot out of your boots. 😀
