I gotta be honest, I wasn’t heartbroken to realize Wizards would never want my story. I was, uh, relieved? The idea of trying to contact them and ask to write a D&D story was, as you may have picked up, really scary for me. Better to be shot down when it wasn’t even personal, right? I know that’s the coward’s way of thinking, but at the same time, I’m now running a gosh dang freaking webcomic, which is its own stupid huge endeavor, so eh, it balances out imo. And besides, I did not have any control over the situation either way, so I’m not going to hold it against myself I chose the line of thinking that made it sound like I did because that’s what I WANTED to have happen, anyway, so there! /sticks out tongue
